"SsangYong NZ release the new Rexton W, 3rd Generation Rexton 7-seater SUV Oct '12. Rexton W, with W standing for Work of Art, has had a facelift. SsangYong has retained the Mercedes-designed 2.7L turbo-diesel engine from Rexton II which is matched to a 5spd Mercedes transmission. Rexton 'TeamMate' is the no frills entry level model, but still comes with 7-seats, a 3200kg braked towing capacity, ABS, dual airbags, bluetooth, running boards, low range transmission, LED head lamps & tail lamps, child ISOFIX, features a 2.7td XDi 121kw turbocharged diesel engine matched to a 5MT or 5AT. Middle range Rexton W Sport 2.7td XDi 121kW with a 5AT has all the std features of the 'TeamMate' plus a few additional ones incl ESP, side airbags, 18in diamond cut alloys, rear spoiler, tail glass opening, headlamp adj & cruise control. Top of the range Rexton W SPR comes with a 2.7td XVT 137kw turbocharged diesel engine matched to a 5AT & incl's all the features that the Sport has, plus tinted glass, rear a/c, leather trim, electric seats with memory, sunroof, auto rear lamps with rear sensor wipers & heated seats front & rear. Rexton W is now the only full ladder frame chassis vehicle out of Korea. Rexton is avail in 6-colours Grand White, Silent Silver, Sable Grey, Tonic Grey, Royal Brown & Space Black.
