USES AND APPLICATION
SILTECH C-612 

• • is especially formulated to cause hammertone finish in  solventborne coatings but can also be used in some waterborne coatings. The hammertone effect is due to the insoluble silicone, so using too much of the additive can cause defects and other issues. It is very important to conduct a ladder study of concentration with your system.

• •  

• • Typical use levels are 0.5-5% by weight of the whole system.
