    Directories: The 7937G identifies incoming messages and categorizes them for users on the screen, which allows users to quickly and effectively return calls using the direct dial-back capability. The corporate directory can integrate with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol Version 3 Standard Directory.
    Settings: A settings feature is available to allow users to adjust display contrast, select background images and select from a large number of unique ringer sounds through the User Preference menu.
    Services: The IP Conference Station 7937G gives users quick access to diverse information such as weather, stocks, quote of the day and any other web-based information. XML capabilities provide a portal to the world of applications, features and information.
    Help: The online Help feature gives users information about the phone keys, buttons and features, and the pixel display allows for more flexible feature navigation and significantly expands the information viewed when using the Services, Information, Messages and Directory features.
    Hold, Mute and Redial Keys: The Mute key is a fixed key, and Hold and Redial are provided as softkeys, always at the same position for easy access.
    Display: The Conference Station has a large 255 x 128 pixel, 32-level grayscale display.
    Speakerphone: The IP 7937G includes a full duplex, high-quality wideband speakerphone with Automatic Gain Control, Comfort Noise Generation, Silence Suppression/Voice Activity Detection, Echo Suppression and Dynamic Noise Reduction to reduce noises by up to 9dB from constant noise sources such as fans of HVAC systems.
    Ethernet Switch: An internal Ethernet port allows for a direct connection to a 10/200BASE-T Ethernet network.
    Volume Control: Convenient volume control buttons are available to provide easy, decibel-level adjustments for the speakerphone and ringer.
    Power Options: The 7937G can be powered via PoE, or a local power supply.
    Multiple Ring Tones: Users can choose from 28 available ring tones.
    Signaling Protocol Support: The 7937G supports SCCP.
    Codec Support: G.711, G.729, G.722 audio compression codecs are supported.
    QoS Options: The Cisco 7937G supports DHCP and 802.1Q/p standards and can also be configured with a 801.1Q VLAN header that contains the VLAN IP overrides configured by an Admin VLAN ID.
    Security: The 7937G supports device authentication with a 802.1.x supplicant and 802.1x MD5-EAP.
    Language Support: Over 30 languages are supported, depending on your Cisco Unified Communications Manager version.
    Configuration Options: The IP address can be statically configured or configured through the DHCP client.
    Voice Quality: Comfort-noise generation and voice activity detection are performed on a system basis.
