       Since the 1990s, the Research Center for Thermal Equipment and Renewable Energy (RECTERE) – Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology has started study, installation of solar energy water heater SOLAR-BK® and wind energy and solar energy equipments. Until early of 2006, Bach Khoa Investment and Development of Solar Energy Co., Ltd was established to undertake and bring these studies into applications to serve the market. The company’s Board of directors and senior technical advisers are ex-professors and researchers of RECTERE - Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology. With many years of experience and researching results in the Renewable Energy, BK-IDSE targets to bring the researching results into market to have a part in the dissemination and development of renewable energy in Vietnam.

       The solar energy water heater SOLAR-BK® with PPR (Polypropylene) collecting plates, copper material (copper tube, copper propeller) or by vacuum tubes is always evaluated as one of the qualified products with  competitive price in comparison to imported products.

       Until 2008, the company was officially changed to Corporation with many big aspirations and objectives. The company’s outstanding points are not only high qualified products which are controlled by ISO 9001-2000, good after sales service but also the group of professional experts, especially in designing and optimizing industrial scale projects.

       Recently, beside the market share in the family water heater, BL-IDSE has been trusted and agreed by many big customers to carry out industrial scale projects of 10.000L/day – 20.000L/day, such as:

• Hybrid system combining solar energy generator plates and wind motor in Truong Sa island, power of 11 KWp.
• System of solar energy lamp poles in Truong Sa.
• System of clean energy supplying electricity for Truong Sa archipelago – specifically, power of Truong Sa Lon island reaches 363 KWh/day.
