V-R series air filter media is made of synthetic fibers. The washable filter media comes
with white color, black color, and blue and white color. The different of colors indicate
the different applications of each washable media. V-R series media is characterized by a
relatively low resistance to airflow with high dust holding capacity.

Applications

Synthetic filter media.
The V-R 75 media are recommended for use in low pressure forced air convectors, window ventilation units, fan coils and as prefilter in paintspray cabins.
The V-R 85 media is for use in room air conditioning units, hot air generators, air conditioning installations, home kitchen hoods and as prefilter in paint spray cabins.
The V-R 92 media is suitable for use in air conditioning installations in the food industry, kitchen hoods, industrial ventilation systems and as prefilter in paintspray cabins.

Cleaning

All the filter medias are washable up to certain limit when it is dirty.
In warm water (30 - 40°c) with addition of a household detergent, If necessary. Drying should be done on a flat surface. Do not rub or wring.
By blowing with compressed air in opposite direction of filter airflow.

Aluminum Frame washable media

Besides in the roll form, the washable filter media also comes in the form with aluminum
extrusion frame. The aluminum frame plays its role to hold and support the media, and
also simplified the process of filter installation into the HVAC system. The washable filter
with aluminum frame comes with various size and thickness to suit the sizes filter holding
frames in HVAC system.

High performance, environment friendly media

With the new V - Di 100 and 300 series of prefilters VAF has risen to the challenge of
designing an environment-friendly product with the necessary performance characteristics
built-in. These filters feature a new 100% synthetic media pack which provides excellent
performance in conditions of high relative humidity and moisture. When the media
becomes wet, resistance may rise temporarily only to subside when the media starts to
dry. The synthetic media displays great tensile strength, reducing the chance of damage
during handling and operation. The media is environment and user friendly: it does not
contain any harsh resins or artificial colouring. It can therefore be readily disposed of by
landfill or incineration.

Reliable construction

The pleated media pack of both range of filters is installed with a humidity resistance
beverage board frame bond thoroughly by strong adhesive. The air leaving side of the
media is supported by wire mesh in order to maintain the equidistant between pleats,
strengthen the media during turbulence flows, and to maintain the equal air flow over the
total media surface, in which all the above constructions will reduce the resistance of the
filter and giving positive effects on energy saving.

Applications

Classified G4 in accordance with EN 779, V - Di 100 and 300 plays its important roles in
filtering out the bigger particles from the environment air and prolong the operating life
span of secondary filter, therefore reduce HVAC maintenance costs.
